Section 132. Appointment of Chaudharis

132. (1) The Deputy Commissioner may appoint for each village or group of village one or more Chaudharis. (2) When there are two or more Chaudharis in a village, the Deputy Commissioner may distribute, subject to the rules made under this Regulation, duties of the office of Chaudhari among them in such manner as he may think fit.
