Section 154. Exchange

154. (1) An occupancy tenant, non-occupancy tenant or a grantee may, by agreement, exchange any land comprised in his holding with the land of any other tenant of the same class with the previous permission of the Sub-Divisional Officer (2) When any land is exchanged under sub-section (1), a tenant shall have the same rights in the land so received by him in exchange as he had in the land given by him in exchange (3) Where the Sub-Divisional Officer permits any exchange under sub section (1) he shall also order the relevant records to be corrected accordingly.
