Section 4. Control over revenue officers

4.(1) All revenue officers shall be subordinate to the Chief Commissioner and subject to the provisions of sub section (2), all revenue officers in the district shall also be subordinate to the Deputy Commissioner. (2) Unless the Deputy Commissioner otherwise directs, every revenue officer in a sub-division shall be subordinated to the Sub-Divisional Officer and a Naib-Teshildar in a tehsil shall be subordinates to the Teshildar
