Section 53. Determination of abadi of village

53. The Settlement Officer may, in the case of every inhabited village, ascertain and determine, with due regard to rights in land, the abadi area to be reserved for the residence of the inhabitants or for purposes ancillary therefore, and each area shall be deemed to be abadi of the village.
