Section 17. Land alienations and acquisitions of land

17.Land alienations and acquisitions of land - (1) Where any Government land is required for the Authority, that land shall be deemed to be required for a public purpose and may be alienated by the Government to the Authority as per the rules and regulations. (2)Where any private patta land is required for the Authority, that private patta land shall be deemed to be required for a public purpose and may be acquired to the Authority as per the rules and regulations. (3)Any amount payable for the land alienation/ acquisition, shall be paid by the Authority.
