The Andhra Pradesh Sugarcane (Regulation of Supply and Purchase) Act, 1961.

4. Functions of the committee - The committee shall advise the Government on the following matters, namely :- (a) the regulation of supply and purchase of cane for factories 5[and 5[and khandasari units]; (b) the varieties of cane which are suitable or unsuitable for use in factories 6[and khandasari units]; (c) the maintenance of healthy relations between occupiers of factories, 7 [owners of Khandasari units,] cane growers, cane growers’ co-operative Societies and councils; (d) such other matters as may be prescribed;
