Section 1. Short title extent and commencement
THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH FIRE *AND EMERGENCY SERVICES ACT, 1991 (Act Nol of 1992)
This Act was repealed on 11 May 2026 by the Arunachal Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2026 (Act 12 of 2026), s.73 (it names "the Arunachal Pradesh Fires Service Force Act, 1991 (Act No. 1 of 1991)"), in force on its publication in the Official Gazette, 11 May 2026; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
(1) This Act may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Fire *[and Emergency Services] Act, 1991. (2) It extends to whole of the State of Arunachal Pradesh. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the government may by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint arid different dates may be appointed for different areas and for different provisions of this Act.
