Section 16. False report.
THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH FIRE *AND EMERGENCY SERVICES ACT, 1991 (Act Nol of 1992)
This Act was repealed on 11 May 2026 by the Arunachal Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2026 (Act 12 of 2026), s.73 (it names "the Arunachal Pradesh Fires Service Force Act, 1991 (Act No. 1 of 1991)"), in force on its publication in the Official Gazette, 11 May 2026; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
16. Any person who knowingly gives or cause to be given a false report of the outbreak of fire to any person authorised to receive such report by means of a statement, message or otherwise shall be punishable on conviction before a Magistrate with imprisonment for three months or with fine not exceeding five hundred rupees or with both;
