This Act was repealed on 11 May 2026 by the Arunachal Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2026 (Act 12 of 2026), s.73 (it names "the Arunachal Pradesh Fires Service Force Act, 1991 (Act No. 1 of 1991)"), in force on its publication in the Official Gazette, 11 May 2026; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
*[5. (1) The Superintendence and control of the Force shall vest in the Director. who shall function under the control and supervision of the (Director General of Police), Arunachal Pradesh, and shall be carried on by him in accordance with provisions of the Act and the rules made thereunder.]
