11. (1) The Executive Council may, if it is deemed expedient to do so, appoint a Pro-Vice-Chancellor for such term as be decided by the Executive Council and the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall have powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (2) The Executive Council may instead of appointing a full time Pro-Vice-Chancellor appoint a Professor, on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor to be a part-time Pro-Vice-Chancellor in addition to his own duties as Professor. (3) The emoluments and other terms and conditions of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be prescribed by the Statutes.
