This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Assam Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1959 (Assam Act No. XIX of 1959), as listed in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
17. The State Government may charge such fees for the verification, marking, adjusting and stamping of weights or weighing instruments as may be prescribed.
