Section 5. Objects of the University.

5. The University shall be established and incorporated for the following purposes :- (1) Making provision for imparting education to the people in agriculture and other allied branches of learning ; (2) Furthering the advancement of learning and prosecution of research in agriculture and other allied sciences ; (3) Undertaking the extension of such sciences specially to the rural people of the State.
