Section 18. Overriding effect of the Act.

18. (1) The provisions of this Act and the rules framed thereunder shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in the Societies Registration Act, 1860 or in the Bidhan of the Samiti. (2) During the period this Act is in force no member of the Board shall exercise any right under Section 13 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
