Section 5. Effects of declaration of lands as Bhoodan lands.
THE ASSAM BHOODAN ACT, 1965 (SINGLE DOCUMENT)
This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by Assam Land and Revenue Regulation (Amendment) Act, 2022 (named as the Act repealing it in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts, alphabetical_repealed_act_final.pdf; the list gives no date); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
5. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law for the time being in force, with effect from the date of confirmation of the declaration, all rights, title and interest of persons whose declarations have been confirmed under sub-section (4) of section 3 in or over the lands covered by such declarations, shall cease and shall stand transferred to and vest in the Bhoodan Board .
