Section 3. Magistrate to publish list of registrars.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by Registration of Birth and Death Act, 1969 (18 of 1969) (named as the Act repealing it in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts, alphabetical_repealed_act_final.pdf; the list gives no date); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
3. The 2[District Magistrate] shall cause to be published a list containing the name and place of office of every registrar in the area, and specifying the hours of the day during which such registrar shall attend at his office for the purpose of registration.
