Section 12. Prohibition of markets, fairs, etc., in infected areas.

This Act was repealed on 30 September 2022 by the Assam Repealing Act, 2022 (33 of 2022), s.2 and the Schedule (the whole Act); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
12. No person shall organise, promote or hold in any infected area any animal market, animal fair, animal exhibition or other concentration of animals whether for the purpose of sport or trade, without the permission in writing of the Provincial Government or such officer as the Provincial Government may authorise in this behalf.
