Section 6. Prohibition of slaughter of cattle in places not prescribed for the pur-pose.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021 (named as the Act repealing it at entry 33 of the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts; the list gives no date); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
6. Prohibition of slaughter of cattle in places not prescribed for the pur-pose.—No cattle in respect of which a certificate has been issued under section 5 shall be slaughtered in any place other than a place prescribed in this behalf.
