Section 2. Jurisdiction of the Commissioner, Assam Valley Division, in the Surma Valley and Hill Division.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by Assam Board of Revenue Act, 1962 (named as the Act repealing it in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts, alphabetical_repealed_act_final.pdf; the list gives no date); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
2. Subject to the next succeeding section, after the commencement of this Act all powers and jurisdictions in Civil, Criminal and Revenue matters which have heretofore been exercised by the Commissioner, Surma Valley and Hill Dviision, shall be deemed to be transferred to the Commissioner, Assam Valley Division,or to such other authority as the Governor may direct.
