Section 13. Maintenance of Register

13. (1) Every Marriage and Divorce Registrar shall keep a Register of Marriages as in the Schedule-IV and a separate Register of Divorces as in Schedule-V shall be maintained within the respective jurisdiction of the Marriage and Divorce Registrar in the manner as may be prescribed. (2) The Registrar General shall cause to be printed and supplied sufficient number of Registers for the purpose of making entries of marriages and divorces.
