This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by The Assam Consolidation of Holdings (Repealing) Act, 2022 (Assam Act 11 of 2022); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1960. (2) It extends to the Districts of Lakhimpur, Sibsagar, Nowgong, Darrang, Kamrup, Goalpara and Cachar in the State of Assam. (3) It shall come into force on such date and in respect of such area as the State Government may, by notification, in the official Gazette, appoint.
