This Act was repealed on 12 December 2023 by the Assam Electricity Control (Emergency Powers) (Repealing) Act, 2023 (Assam Act 72 of 2023), s.2; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
1. (1) This Act shall be called the Assam Electricity Control (Emergency Powers) Act, 1947. (2) It extends to the whole of Assam. (3) It shall come into force at once.
