Section 4. Penalty for contravention of order.

This Act was repealed on 12 December 2023 by the Assam Electricity Control (Emergency Powers) (Repealing) Act, 2023 (Assam Act 72 of 2023), s.2; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
4. If any person contravenes any order made or deemed to be made under section 2 he shall be punishable with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years or with fine or with both.
