Section 7. Delegation of powers.

This Act was repealed on 12 December 2023 by the Assam Electricity Control (Emergency Powers) (Repealing) Act, 2023 (Assam Act 72 of 2023), s.2; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
7. The Provincial Government may by order direct that any power conferred on it by section 2 shall, in such circumstances and under such conditions, if any, as may be specified in the direction, be exercised by any officer or authority subordinate to it.
