THE ASSAM INDUSTRIES ESTABLISHMENTS (CONFERMENT OF PERMANENT STATUS TO WORKMEN) ACT, 1985

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by The Assam Repealing (No.I) Act, 2017 (Assam Act No. XIX of 2017) (named as the Act repealing it in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts, alphabetical_repealed_act_final.pdf; the list gives no date); it may still apply to matters that began before then.

6. Penalties.—(1) Every employer who contravenes the provision of Section 3 of this Act shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees and in the case of continuing offence with a further fine which may extend to two hundred rupees for every day after the first during which the offence continues. (2) No prosecution for an offence punishable under the section shall be instituted except with the previous sanction of the prescribed authority.
