1. (1) This Act may be called the Kamatapur Autonomous Council Act, 2020. (2) It extends to the Koch Rajbonshi community dominated villages of the districts of Goalpara, Dhubri, Bongaigaon and South Salmara District excluding the Bodoland Territorial Council and Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council areas. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act or different areas
