Section 47. Protection of the right of the non-tribal and other ethnic groups

47. All rights and interests of ethnic groups other than Koch Rajbongshi Community within the council area existing at the commencement of this Act, in matters pertaining to their language, literature, culture, religion, customs and traditions and on matters pertaining to sections 18 to 29 shall be protected.
