Short title, extent and commencement.

1. (1) This Act may be called Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya Act, 2017. (2) It extends to the whole of Assam. (3) It shall come into force at once.

Establishment of Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya.

2. (1) For furthering the advancement of learning and prosecution of higher education and research, there shall be established a Private University under the name and style “Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya” in the State of Assam- (2) The details regarding name, location, jurisdiction and infrastructure of the said University are mentioned in the Schedule appended to this Act.
