Section 35. Repeal and saving.

35.(1) The Assam Medical Act, 1916 and if immediately before the commencement of this Act, there is in force in Assam any law or order regulating the matters provided in this Act, shall stand repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Act, law or order so repealed shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
