Section 11. Powers of the Chairman of the General Council.

This Act was repealed on 21 May 2022 by The Assam State Higher Education Council (Repealing) Act, 2022 (Assam Act 19 of 2022); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
11. The Chairman of the General Council shall have the following powers, namely:- (a) to call for report on any matter pertaining to the affairs of the Council and offer suggestions for overall improvement of the functioning of the Council; (b) to preside over all meetings of the Council.
