The Assam State Higher Education Council Act, 2017

This Act was repealed on 21 May 2022 by The Assam State Higher Education Council (Repealing) Act, 2022 (Assam Act 19 of 2022); it may still apply to matters that began before then.

24. The State Government will constitute a State Project Directorate (SPD) with following composition and functions:- (1) The State Project Directorate shall be headed by the Director of the Council and such adequate support staff as may be required for the effective functioning of the State Project Directorate. (2) The State Project Directorate shall:- (i) oversee project implementation at the State level; (ii) maintain statistical data ad Management Information System (MIS) report; and (iii) engage Project Auditors as required.
