Section 35. Repeal and saving

35. The Assam Secondary Education Act, 1961 and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Act, 1984 and the rules corresponding to these Acts and in force immediately before the commencement of this Act are hereby repealed: Provided that all orders made or action taken under the Acts so repealed or under general orders ancillary thereto shall be deemed to have been validly made or taken under the corresponding provisions of these Acts.
