The Assam Veterinary and Fishery University Act, 2024

38. (1) The University shall, through its constituent colleges, undertake teaching, research and extension education activities in accordance with provisions of this Act. (2) The constituent and affiliated colleges and institutions of the University shall have method of teaching and organization as may be directed by the authority from time to time. (3) The University shall, according to the need, establish new colleges and institutions to serve the requirements of various faculties. (4) The University shall, according to the need start additional training centres or close down either permanently or temporarily any of the training institutions, courses or classes under its control as it may consider appropriate.
