Section 11. Spreading of periods of work.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Bihar Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2025; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
11. Spreading of periods of work.—The periods of work and intervals of rest of an employee in an establishment shall not be together spread over more than — (i) in the case of child, eight hours in any day; (ii) in the case of a young person, ten hours in any day; 1[(iii) in the case of any other employee, twelve hours in any day. ]
