Section 47. Liability of contravention in case of company, firm etc.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Chhattisgarh Rent Control Act, 2011 (19 of 2012), s.14(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
47. Liability of contravention in case of company, firm etc. - If the person, who contravenes any order made or deemed to have been made under this Act is a company, partnership, firm or other body corporate, every director, partner, manager, secretary or other officer or agent thereof shall, unless he proves that the contravention took place without his knowledge or that he exercised all due diligence to prevent such contravention, be deemed to be guilty of such contravention.
