Section 49. Protection of action taken in good faith.

49. Protection of action taken in good faith. - No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against [the Collector, or the Rent Controlling Authority or the officer authorised by the Collector under sub-section (1) of Section 39] in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act.
