This Act was repealed on 11 September 2006 by the Chhattisgarh Agricultural Cattle Preservation Act, 2004 (28 of 2006), s.21; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
13. Offences to be cognizable.- notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1998 (V of 18980 all offences under this Act shall be cognizable.
