33. Finance Committee.- (1) The Finance committee shall be responsible for the financial management of the University and shall consist of the following members :- (i) Vice-Chancellor-Chairman ; (ii) Secretary/Special Secretary to Government of Chhattisgarh, Finance Department; (iii) Secretary/Special Secretary to Government of Chhattisgarh, Agriculture/ Horticulture Department; (iv) Director of Agriculture, Chhattisgarh; (v) Director of Horticulture, Chhattisgarh; (2) The Committee shall exercise the following powers and perform the following duties:- (i) to approve the Budget of the University; (ii) to consider Annual Accounts and financial estimates placed before it by the Comptroller and pass them without modification or with such modifications as it may deem fit. (iii) to lay before the Board annually a full statement of the financial requirements of the University.
