Section 4. Objects of University.

4. Objects of University.- The University shall among others have the following purposes:- (a) making provison for the education in horticulture and other allied sciences; (b) furthering the prosecution of research, particularly, in horticulture, and other allied sciences; (c) undertaking field extension programmes; and (d) such other purposes related to the aforesaid with the object of improving the level of living of rural people as the State Government may direct, by notification.
