Section 52. Limitation of prosecutions

This Act was repealed on 13 February 2025 by the Chhattisgarh Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017 (Chhattisgarh Act 21 of 2018), s.30(1), in force from 13 February 2025; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
52. Limitation of prosecutions — No Court shall take cognizance of an offence under this Act or any rule or order made thereunder unless complaint thereof is made within three months of the date on which the alleged commission of the offence came to the knowledge of an Inspector.
