1. Short title, extent, application and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Vas-sthan Dakhalkar (Bhumiswami Adhikaron ka Pradan Kiya Jana)-Adhiniyam, 2003 (No. 16 of 2003); (2) It extends to the whole of Chhattisgarh; (3) It shall apply to all non-urban areas in the State of Chhattisgarh; (4) It shall come into force from 21st of May, 2003.
