1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the 2[Dadra and Nagar Haveli and] Daman and Diu Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1982. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the Union territory of 3[Dadra and Nagar Haveli and] Daman and Diu. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the 4[Administrator] may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint.
