Section 27. Committees.

27. (1) Subject to such control and restrictions as may be prescribed, a Gram Panchayat may appoint Committees for exercising such of its powers and discharging such of its duties and functions as it may specify. (2) A Committee appointed under sub-section (1), shall consist of not more than five members and may be dissolved or reconstituted for such reasons and in such manner as may be prescribed. (3) Every Gram Panchayat shall have the powers to annul, revise or modify any decisions taken by any of its Committees.
