1. Short title, extent and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the 3[Dadra and Nagar Haveli and] Daman and Diu Debt Relief Act, 1980. (2) It extends to the whole of the Union territory of 4[Dadra and Nagar Haveli and] Daman and Diu. (3) It shall come in to force with immediate effect.
