1. Short title, extent and commencement. — (1) This Act may be called the 3[Dadra and Nagar Haveli and] Daman and Diu Housing Board Act, 1968. (2) It extends to the whole of the Union territory of 4[Dadra and Nagar Haveli and] Daman and Diu. (3) It shall come in to force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
