1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the 3[Dadra and Nagar Haveli and] Daman and Diu Khadi and Village Industries Board Act, 1965.
(2) It extends to the whole of the Union Territory of 4[Dadra and Nagar Haveli and] Daman and Diu.
(3) It shall come into force on such date as Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette appoint in this behalf.
