Article 1110 – Debts prior to marriage - The debts of the spouses acquired before the marriage are also incommunicable except: 1. Where the other spouse has personally undertaken to pay or desires to bind himself to make the payment thereof; 2. Where they have been utilised for the common benefit of the spouses.
