Section 1177. Prior demise of donee

Article 1177 – Prior demise of donee – Although the said gifts are made in favour of the spouses or any of them, the issues of the marriage shall derive benefit from the same, even if the donee or donees die before the donor; and shall lapse only in case the donor survives all the descendants of the donees.
