Article 143 – Corrective power - If the child is disobedient and incorrigible, his/her parents may resort to judicial authority, which will have him/her kept in the correctional home so destined, for the period it deems just, which shall not exceed thirty days. § Sole paragraph - The father has, however, the power to have the ordered detention ceased.
