Section 1468. Eviction of gifted thing

Article 1468 - Eviction of gifted thing - The donor shall not be answerable for the eviction of the gifted thing if he does not so bind himself expressly, except for the provisions of articles 1142 & 1143. § Sole paragraph - The donee shall however stand subrogated in all the rights which may be available to the donor in case there is an eviction.
