Section 526. Time limits for prescription

Article 526 – Time limits for prescription – Immovables and immobile rights may be acquired by prescription: 1. In case of registration of simple possession, by a lapse of 5 years; 2. In case of registration of title of acquisition, by lapse of 10 years, counted in both the cases from the date of the registration.
